SL Green Realty Corp, New York City’s largest commercial landlord, announced that Schlesinger Associates, a leading national marketing research organization, signed a 10+-year lease for 17,587 s/f at 711 Third Avenue.
Schlesinger is set to occupy the entire 9th floor of the 20-story, 500,000 s/f tower located one block east of Grand Central Terminal between East 44th and 45th Streets.
“We are delighted to welcome Schlesinger Associates to the building,” said Steven Durels, executive vice president, director of leasing and real property for SL Green who added that “the building is 95 percentleased.”
Known for its distinctive mosaic mural designed by famous expressionist Hans Hofmann, which decoratively adorns the lobby elevator banks, the building was recently renovated with new lobby, entrance, corridors, and restrooms.
Other building tenants include Goldberg Segalla, McKinsey & Company, Media Assembly and Chicago Title Insurance Company.
Michael Liss of CBRE acted on behalf of Schlesinger Associates, while Howard Tenenbaum and Gary Rosen represented SL Green in-house.
