New York favorite Sant Ambroeus has officially opened the doors of its new Coffee Bar at Brookfield Place.
The latest iteration of the Italian destination brings its heritage of Milanese hospitality and coffee culture to the Financial District.
The coffee bar features pastries, cakes, sandwiches, salads and gelato, and welcomes guests to its espresso counter to enjoy a signature cappuccino.
The new space is operating in accordance with local and federal guidelines, implementing safety protocol and offering limited indoor seating, in addition to take- out and delivery.
The space is opening on the heels of the debut of Sant Ambroeus’ new The Coffee Bar Cookbook, which is available for purchase online, at select retailers, and all Sant Ambroeus locations.
“Sant Ambroeus takes Brookfield Place to an even higher level on the list of New York’s most celebrated culinary destinations,” said Callie Haines, Senior Vice President, Asset Management at Brookfield Properties. “Visitors to Brookfield Place have been increasing daily, and we are thrilled they will now be able to enjoy the distinct hospitality experience Sant Ambroeus offers.”
Unique to this location, a mezzanine floor dedicated to private dining is available to guests for celebrations or business meetings. There are two private dining spaces: the Madison Room and the Perry Room.
“The teams from SA Hospitality Group and Brookfield Place have worked tirelessly to bring Sant Ambroeus to downtown Manhattan, along with exceptionally talented professionals from all facets of the restaurant industry. We’re thrilled to finally be here to serve both our community and visitors, now more than ever,” said Sant Ambroeus’ Culinary Director, Iacopo Falai.
Studio Robert McKinley created the interiors for the new cafe at 200 Vesey Street. The restaurant space plans to open once New York City permits increased indoor dining capacity.
