RFR tenants get their own putting green

RFR Realty in Stamford announced the installation of an eight-hole putting green on the plaza level at Two Stamford Plaza, part of the four-building Stamford Plaza office complex.

The installation of the putting green took place during the first week of May. It was conceptualized by Margaret Carlson, portfolio director of RFR Realty’s Stamford office portfolio, and is a permanent fixture at the property.

Tenants arrange friendly competitions during work breaks.

“RFR was seeking ways to maximize the use of the 2.5 acre landscaped plaza,” said Ms Carlson. “The putting green allows tenants to enjoy the plaza by taking a quick break from their office responsibilities with the opportunity to stretch their legs and get outside.”

RFR has already seen friendly office competitions arise unexpectedly, and the landlord now plans to host a tenant competition in the future.

The turf putting green is free for tenant use, as part of RFR’s on-site tenant amenity offerings. It was officially opened earlier this month. The putting green is a molded after the 17th green at Augusta National and was designed and installed by Green Life Works and Eastern Land Management.

“RFR and Margaret Carlson have made such a difference for the tenants at Stamford Plaza. We could never have enjoyed such an array of amenities at any other property in the area,” said Richard Upton, of ICON International, a tenant at Stamford Plaza. “Margaret and her team have such an outstanding commitment to the tenants of this complex and they are always looking for new ways to outdo themselves.”
