Eastern Consolidated
Furniture gallery for Bleeker
Eastern Consolidated’s Retail Leasing Division has arranged a 12-year, 3,000 s/flease at 80 Lafayette Street in Tribeca for Todd Merrill, who is relocating his upscale design and furniture gallery from its current space at 65 Bleecker Street.
James Famularo, senior director, represented the landlord for the space, which is located on the ground floor of a 17-story New York University dormitory between White and Franklin Streets. Ravi Idnani, director, represented Todd Merrill.
According to Famularo, “Although we had quite a few offers from fast casual food concepts and cafes seeking to capitalize on the student population in the dormitory, the landlord wanted a tenant that would cater to the residents who are moving into the area’s new residential developments and seeking high-end retail stores. Todd Merrill was exactly the type of tenant we were looking for.”
