The French fashion house is taking 2,500 s/f, including the ground level retail floor in the renovated, pre-war mixed use townhouse.

The space, previously occupied by luxury retailer Bottega Veneta, features a private rear garden, high ceilings, and over 20 feet of frontage on East 67th Street. The new store is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2016.

“Isabel Marant was attracted to the intimate feel and unique charm of the townhouse for her second boutique in New York, as well as its proximity to the exclusive Madison Avenue shopping district,” said Dan Harroch, senior vice president at Thor Retail Advisors.

The upscale, contemporary designer is also located at 469 Broome Street in SoHo, as well as Los Angeles, San Francisco and throughout Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

23 East 67th Street is situated between Fifth and Madison Avenues, home to historic mansions including the Milbank Mansion, one of Manhattan’s largest private homes. Nearby retail boutiques include Marni, Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, Oscar de la Renta, Lanvin, Chloe and Valentino.
