The Partnership for New York City has announced the 22 senior business executives chosen as David Rockefeller Fellows for 2013-14.
Over the next year, the Fellows will learn how New York City works from top leaders in government, labor and the private sector.
At the end of the program, the Fellows will join a cadre of business leaders who are committed to following David Rockefeller’s model of corporate civic engagement.
“When David Rockefeller founded the Partnership, it was to encourage civic participation among New York City’s business leaders.” said Kathryn Wylde, president & CEO of the Partnership for New York City.
“These 22 Fellows are the next generation of top executives in that mold and their newfound experiences in how government operates at the highest levels will hopefully encourage them to consider public service or become more active in public life so that we ultimately keep New York City a center for global opportunity.”
