Real estate PR veteran launches her own firm

Real estate PR veteran Barbara Wagner has launched her own consulting firm, Barbara Wagner Communications, with an eye to helping the industry emerge from the pandemic stronger and more agile.

“As we begin the process of emerging from the global pandemic, opportunities for businesses, both new and pre-existing, are plentiful. I’m confident that the PR expertise and depth of relationships my new team and I can deliver to these organizations will be transformative in helping them achieve their objectives,” said Wagner.

Most recently serving as executive vice president and a member of the senior leadership team at Rubenstein, Wagner has directed campaigns and media relations focused on real estate, economic development, arts and media sectors locally and nationally.

She said, “I am very grateful for the years I spent at Rubenstein, including the opportunity to learn from and form friendships with fascinating clients and brilliant colleagues. It has long been my dream to build out my own practice and I couldn’t be more excited to announce the launch of my new venture.”

Prior to Rubenstein, Wagner worked as a journalist covering business, technology, architecture, and real estate beats; was assistant managing editor of Cosmopolitan Magazine; and worked at Redbook magazine.
