PR firm relocates to Midtown

5W Public Relations, one of the 20 largest independently owned PR firms in the US has relocated its New York offices to The Helmsley Building in midtown Manhattan.

The new 43,295 square-foot office space, which will occupy the 31st and 32nd floors of the iconic New York building, located at 230 Park Avenue, will accommodate the agency’s continued growth and expansion plans for 2017 and beyond. The space will be home to the agency’s 150 person team, across practice areas including Consumer, Corporate, Technology and Digital/Social Media.

“5W’s results-driven approach allows us to continue to grow and expand,” said Ronn Torossian, President & CEO. “We needed larger office spaces to accommodate our growing staff. We look forward to the continued growth of 5W in 2017 and beyond, which is a testament to our team’s hard work and commitment to delivering top-tier results for our clients.”

5W Public Relations, which celebrates 15 years in business in 2017, saw another year of double digit growth in 2016. Key 2016 client wins across the agency included Bowlmor AMF, the world leader in bowling entertainment with operations and a flagship location in Times Square, Wendy Williams, SAP NS2, national security arm of software giant SAP, goPuff, the rapidly growing on-demand convenience store service, cosmetics brand INGLOT Cosmetics, internet retailer SHOP.COM, and Chris Burch, founder of venture capital firm Burch Creative Capital.

5W was represented in the deal by broker is David Badner of Norman Bobrow and Co. The tenant was represented by Silvio Petrillo of CBRE. The deal is a sublease through August 2020.
