The popular Copenhagen brand, which sells everything from soap dispensers to yoga mats, is moving to a 2,000 s/f location at at 424 Columbus Avenue between 80th and 81st Streets. Once the new branch opens on August 13, the company’s footprint would grow to 650 stores in 28 countries.

“The opening of our Upper West Side store is a key milestone in Flying Tiger Copenhagen’s development. We have a solid strategy built on an unique and authentic concept that has allowed us to successfully open four New York stores in a very short time,” said Xavier Vidal, the CEO of Flying Tiger Copenhagen.

The brand’s first outpost in the US opened in the Flatiron District in May of last year. The new location is not Flying Tiger’s first uptown branch. Earlier this year, the company opened an Upper East Side store at 1282 Third Avenue.
