Bromberg brothers to open new concept eatery at 84 William St. in FiDi

Bruce and Eric Bromberg, chefs and co-founders of Blue Ribbon Restaurants, will introduce a new concept to their roster this fall, Blue Ribbon Federal Grill, at 84 William Street.

The new restaurant will be located on the ground level of the newly opened AKA Wall Street, the first, luxury all-residential hotel in NYC’s New Downtown.

“We are looking forward to bringing a new member of the Blue Ribbon family to downtown Manhattan and providing exceptional customer service in a welcoming environment,” said Eric Bromberg.

Marking Blue Ribbon’s first non-Japanese project in FiDi, the concept will follow the Blue Ribbon tradition of the “no rules, something for everyone” approach which has guided the Bromberg Brothers since the opening of their ground-breaking original SoHo location.

“Our FiDi eatery will embody the original founding spirit of Blue Ribbon Restaurants – it will be a casual, fun place that we would be happy returning to day after day with business associates, family or friends,” said Bruce Bromberg.

“We are excited to be creating a new dining and drinking destination in the Financial District.”

The restaurant will be designed by long-time Blue Ribbon Restaurants collaborator, Asfour Guzy Architects. In addition to overseeing the design for all projects by the Bromberg Brothers since their original Blue Ribbon Brasserie in SoHo, the firm designed AKA Wall Street and has worked on many AKA properties.

“We knew Blue Ribbon and the Bromberg Brothers’ commitment to innovation would align perfectly with our brand,” said Larry Korman, president of AKA. “We are committed to bringing acclaimed restaurateurs and unmatched culinary experiences to our guests and urban communities.”
