The Young Men’s/Women’s Real Estate Association held its monthly luncheon on September 8 with guest speaker, Robert Lapidus, president and chief investment officer of L&L Holding Company, LLC. Lapidus spoke about two major re-developments the company is currently undertaking; 380 Madison Avenue and 425 Park Avenue. In each project, L&L is looking to create modern office space with amenities and features that companies desire in today’s market. The improvements to 380 Madison will set the building apart from the aging Midtown building stock, as well as place it in front of the commodity space in that area of Madison Avenue. 425 Park Avenue will be the first new office building on Park Avenue in more than 50 years and will target boutique financial services companies.
