Movie director Martin Scorsese is moving his media production company to International Plaza, Charles S. Cohen’s office tower at 750 Lexington Avenue at 59th Street.
The firm, Sikelia Productions, has leased a portion of the building’s 20th floor comprising 7,500 s/ffor its new headquarters. It expects to relocate from 110 West 57th Street to its new offices in the second quarter of 2018.
“I’m delighted to welcome this legendary Academy Award filmmaker and his company to 750 Lexington Avenue,” said Cohen, a real estate owner and developer also well-known as a film producer.
Marc Horowitz, Senior Vice President and National Director of Office leasing for Cohen Brothers Realty Corporation, represented the landlord in the 10-year leasing transaction, while Scott Gottlieb of CBRE represented the tenant. Asking rents are in the $75-$90 psf.
