Maritime firm renews at 299 Park

Fisher Brothers announced that Gener8 Maritime, a leading provider of international seaborne crude oil transportation services, has renewed its lease at 299 Park Avenue, one of Fisher Brothers’ signature New York City office towers.

Gener8 Maritime’s lease, which now extends through 2025, encompasses the entire 28,326 square feet of office space on the second floor of 299 Park Avenue, an iconic office tower which is currently 97 percent leased by a range of world-class companies.

“The Plaza district, and 299 Park Avenue in particular, has served as the headquarters for many of the world’s most successful businesses and Gener8 Maritime is no exception,” said Fisher Brothers Partner Kenneth Fisher. “We are thrilled to be able to extend our relationship well into to the coming decade.”

Gener8 Maritime was represented by Glenn Isaacson and Jared Isaacson of CBRE.  Fisher Brothers was represented in-house by Marc Packman and Jessica Kanfer.

Designed by Emery Roth & Sons and built by Fisher Brothers, the 42-story, 1.2 million-square-foot office tower occupies the full block front between 48th and 49th Streets. Situated along one of the world’s most iconic boulevards, 299 Park counts such prestigious neighbors as the Waldorf-Astoria and Grand Central Terminal.  Originally built over primary tracks serving the New Haven Railroad, it was considered a marvel of modern engineering at the time of its construction.
