The Corcoran Group announced that Liz Nelson has joined the firm’s Chelsea office as Managing Director.
Nelson started her real estate career as an agent at Corcoran in 2004 at the 660 Madison Avenue office. She subsequently held a number of positions at Douglas Elliman, as an agent and in the DE Broker Specialist Program, where she served as Executive Vice President and Director.
Most recently, Nelson managed day-to-day operations at the top-producing Elliman 17th Street office, where she helped to grow the businesses of some of the firm’s top agents.
In her new position, Nelson will work closely with Senior Managing Director of the Chelsea office, Leigh Godwin.
Commenting on the latest addition to the Corcoran management group, Pamela Liebman remarked, “I am delighted to have Liz return and join us at Corcoran. Corcoran’s Chelsea office, located at 218 West 18th Street in the heart of the neighborhood, is one of the firm’s busiest offices. The 13,500 s/f space recently underwent a complete renovation to accommodate desks for 100 agents but can provide space for many more due to the office’s modern, open plan and flexible workspaces.
