Leasing underway at Aalto57
The World Wide Group and Rose Associates have launched leasing at Aalto57.
Located in Sutton Place, the Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM)-designed glass tower, inspired by the iconic Aalto vase, is the latest addition to Manhattan’s “Billionaires’ Row.”
The 169 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom luxury rentals will be leased and managed by Rose Associates.
“No other luxury building offers what Aalto57 currently does: sophisticated layouts, superior finishes, and one of the only opportunities to rent in a new building located on the city’s most sought-after boulevard in the elegant Sutton Place neighborhood,” said Jim Stanton of the World Wide Group.

Spread over 21 floors, the interiors at Aalto57 include luxury finishes, such as walnut floors, nine ft. ceilings and curved-glass walls.
Each unit also has a washer/dryer, 365 day a year controlled heating and air conditioning and an enhanced water and air filtration system. Residences on the ninth floor have private terraces, while a selection of additional units offer private balconies.
Amenities include a landscaped terrace designed by Mathews Nielson Landscape Architects with a fire pit on the seventh floor, a fitness center, resident’s lounge, business center and conference room, field house with a basketball court, kids playroom, bike room with a DIY tune-up station, commercial laundry, onsite residential manager and a 24-hour doorman.
Adam R. Rose of Rose Associates said residents will also be granted exclusive access to the concierge and lifestyle management company Luxury Attaché.
Pricing ranges from approximately $3,200-$17,000 per month.

Gotham comes to market with The Ashland
Gotham Organization announced that leasing is set to launch for The Ashland, a new, full-service luxury rental tower in Fort Greene, Brooklyn – the first tower to rise in Brooklyn’s Cultural District.
Designed by FXFOWLE, with interiors by SPAN Architecture, the 53-story tower will consist of 586 units.
The apartment mix includes studios to three-bedroom units ranging from approximately $2,600 for a studio to $7,500 for a three-bedroom apartment.
Residences feature central air, floor-to-ceiling windows in all bedrooms, plank wood floors, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and Bosch dishwashers and washer/dryers (available in all two and three-bedroom units).

New Forte Greene rental opens
Two Trees Management launched leasing at 300 Ashland, a mixed-use rental building in Fort Greene, Brooklyn designed by Enrique Norten of TEN Arquitectos.
300 Ashland stands south of the Brooklyn Academy of Music and the Williamsburgh Savings Bank, two well-known Brooklyn landmarks.
Comprised of studio, one-and two bedroom units, 300 Ashland includes 379 apartments. 76 units have been set aside as below-market rentals.
The 32-story building features a 24-hour front desk concierge, a 24-hour gym, a 29th floor outdoor roof deck designed by James Corner Field Operations (the designers of the High Line), a parking garage and keyless electronic access.
Units have white hardwood oak floors, in-unit washer/dryers, Caesarstone and stainless steel countertops and Energy Star & Bosch appliances.
The building will be anchored by 50,000 s/f of cultural space including; BAM Cinemas, 651 ARTS dance studios and a Brooklyn Public Library space. There will also be 43,000 s/f of retail along Flatbush Ave., flanked by a new 10,000 s/f public plaza designed by landscape architect Grain Collective.
Pricing at 300 Ashland starts at $2,800 for studios upt to $5,750 for two bedroom, 2-bath units.
Living large in Brooklyn
Sales have begun at The Hendrik, a new Boerum Hill condominium with 33 spacious residences.
Located 509 Pacific Street, the Hendrick was developed by Hopestreet and designed by Beyer Blinder Belle.
The 33 units range from two- through four-bedrooms priced from $1.625 million, three bedrooms are priced from $2.5 million, and four-bedrooms are priced from $2.9 million.
More than half of the homes will feature private outdoor spaces of up to nearly 1,140 s/f.
“By living and raising our families in Brooklyn, we know what it takes for comfortable living in brownstone Brooklyn, and we wanted to design a building that brings to market what’s been missing in our borough’s new developments, which is a real focus on both livability and craftsmanship,” said Jeffrey Gershon, principal of Hopestreet.
