Lee & Associates NYC Represents the Queens County Bar Association and Queens Volunteer Lawyers Project in New Lease at 8814 Sutphin Blvd

Lee & Associates NYC announced today that it has represented Queens County Bar Association (QCBA) and Queens Volunteer Lawyers Project (QVLP) in a new lease at the brand-new 8814 Sutphin Blvd, located directly across from the New York Supreme Court. Both tenants took identical 2,400 sf spaces on the 3rd and 4th floors and are expected to move in February of 2023.

Kelly Koukou from Lee & Associates NYC represented the tenants, and David Payami from Capital Property Partners represented the landlord, Haiim Pour Family, in the transaction.

“The needs for New York office tenants have changed,” said Kelly Koukou, Executive Managing Director and Principal at Lee & Associates NYC. “QCBA was at their old building for over 60 years and realized it was time to make a change to reflect their new business model. They weren’t utilizing their auditorium enough to make the space worthwhile, and it became more cost effective to move their office component to a new building, while renting space in a hotel function room when needed.”

With the move to 8814 Sutphin, QCBA plans to sell their old building at 90-35 148th street. Koukou is representing the firm in negotiations with potential buyers.
