Korean fashion brand ALAND will open its flagship location at American Dream mall

American Dream, the New Jersey mega-mall project developed by Triple Five Group, has inked a lease with Korean retailer ÅLAND.

ÅLAND, founded by sisters Kinam Jung and Jung Eun Jung in 2005, is a multi-concept store that offers affordable fashion basics and curated products by emerging and independent Korean designers – most of which are exclusive to the US. Products range from men’s and women’s clothing, shoes and accessories, to home décor, beauty and wellness products.

At approximately 10,000 s/f, ÅLAND at American Dream will serve as a flagship location for the brand. This is ÅLAND’s first store in New Jersey and second in the US, the first opened in Brooklyn last summer. ÅLAND currently operates more than 20 stores in Korea, with additional locations in Hong Kong and Thailand.

“American Dream is a destination for discovery,” said Don Ghermezian, CEO, American Dream. “Seoul has become an international fashion capital, known for its thriving street style. ÅLAND will provide guests from near and far the opportunity to discover new, emerging Korean labels that they cannot find anywhere else, making it perfectly poised for American Dream.”

American Dream is set to open on October 25. It is approximately 3 million s/f and includes over 450 shops, services and amenities.
