JLL completed a new lease transaction for WuXi Biologics at 7 Clarke Drive, Cranbury, N.J., with building owner Cedar Brook Corporate Center.
The global company with open-access biologics technology platforms signed a lease for the entire 68,000 s/f clinical manufacturing facility.
WuXi Biologics was represented by Robert Ryan and John Buckley, both executive vice presidents with JLL.
“WuXi Biologics continues to develop its global supply chain network,” said Ryan. “The Cranbury location offers the leading global CDMO tremendous access to New Jersey’s highly trained workforce and leading scientists’ pool.”
WuXi Biologics inked a 10-year lease for the entire 7 Clarke Drive in Cranbury, N.J. The facility comprises 68,000 s/f of research and development laboratory, biologics manufacturing, and office space. The tenant will equip the building with process development and quality control laboratories and other supporting functions.
This is the third location for the company in the United States. WuXi Biologics is building a new facility in Worcester, Mass., in addition to completing a lease of 33,000 square feet for a development laboratory in King of Prussia, Pa.
The 7 Clarke Drive clinical manufacturing facility was constructed in 1998 and is located within Cedar Brook Corporate Center, a 1.2 million-square-foot office and technology park on 150 acres in Cranbury. The property is conveniently located off Route 130, and in close proximity to the New Jersey Turnpike at Interchange 8A.
The property is a short distance from the Princeton Route 1 corridor, downtown Princeton and Princeton University, and a wide variety of stores, restaurants, hotels, theatres and cultural resources.
