Itʼs summer camp all year at newest Hudson Yards kids store

A blossoming new childrens store has set up base camp at Hudson Yards.

Calling itself a “family experience store” CAMP has opened a 6,000 s/f space in the tony new shopping center built by Related and Oxford Properties on the west side.

It will be CAMP’s fourth location with the flagship first opening on 5th Avenue, then South Norwalk, CT, City Point, Brooklyn and now Hudson Yards.

CAMP offers a mix of nostalgic and modern children’s toys, accessories and clothing (as well as some items for adults), activities for ticketed purchase and food and drinks at it canteen.

CAMP’s Hudson Yards location will continuously feature the brand’s signature BaseCAMP theme

Blending play and product in one setting, CAMP builds spaces that it hopes will take families on a journey where they can shop for toys, engage, and simply have fun.

The new Hudson Yards store features CAMP’s signature components: a canteen (café), an interactive space for play and shopping, and a theatre for activities and programming for kids of all ages.

The canteen offers up Ample Hills ice cream including a signature CAMP flavor as well as coffee and other snacks.

While all other CAMP locations have rotating themes, CAMP’s Hudson Yards location will continuously feature the brand’s signature BaseCAMP theme, bringing families back to a nostalgic New England summer camp no matter the time of year.

At BaseCAMP, kids and parents can explore and discover nature, arts and crafts, sports, theatre, and fun while shopping.
