Investment managers take space at 41 Madison

JLL has completed a 6,306 s/f lease for Limekiln Real Estate Investment Management, LP, for the partial 41st floor at 41 Madison Ave. in Manhattan. The tenant is relocating from 386 Park Avenue South.

Limekiln Real Estate is an alternative investment manager that focuses on financing solutions in the multifamily sector through direct lending (MF1), high-yield securities and special situations.

Located on Madison Square Park at the nexus of NoMad and the Flatiron District, 41 Madison is a modernist property designed by renowned architects Emery Roth & Sons. The building is home to top firms in finance, communications, and talent as well as the New York Merchandise Mart, the city’s premier tabletop destination and a global center for the tabletop industry.

Alexander Chudnoff, vice chairman, and Kristen Morgan, associate vice president, with JLL represented Limekiln Real Estate in the transaction. Property owner Rudin Management Company was represented in-house by vice president Robert Steinman.

“41 Madison offers extraordinary views with direct access to the city’s most dynamic neighborhoods, featuring abundant amenities including restaurants, shops and entertainment,” Morgan said. “The space provides significant flexibility, superior access to mass transit and an environment ideally suited to attracting and retaining talent.”
