HAVE YOU HEARD? Serhant selling celebrity penthouse

Superstar broker Ryan Serhant is selling a superstar home.

The NestSeekers agent is co-listing the penthouse at Southmoor House with Vickey Barron from Compass. Pacey Barron from Compass and Chase Landow from NestSeekers International were the listing agents. The 4,500 s/f penthouse that overlooks Central Park has served as the backdrop in a plethora of blockbusters, from the ABC movie Madoff to Ðreamgirls starring Jennifer Hudson. Everyone from Ricky Martin to Martin Scorsese to Steven Spielberg to Sarah Jessica Parker has worked in the home.

The un-named sellers have combined five apartments to create a luxury four bedroom, 4-bath duplex with 100 ft. of Central Park frontage.

It has been newly renovated and restored as a 1930’s Ruhlmann-style mansion in the sky of the a pre-war Art Deco Building at 230 Central Park South.

It has a paneled foyer, wood-paneled library with wet-bar and wood-burning fireplace, 23-ft long dining room and garden terrace.

There is a separate service entrance, food staging area, extra-large coat closet and full service cocktail bar where, the brokers tell us, the sellers have hosted their share of charity and political events, talent shows and performances.

Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group is in the midst of its fourth annual CS Talks program.

The nine-day series of conversations — which runs until Friday — is expected to draw over 1,000 real estate professionals to events at 19 developments across the city.

Among the highlights this year, 30 Park Place developer, Larry Silverstein, and architect, Robert A.M. Stern, held an open discussion dubbed, “When Mr. Downtown met New York’s master architect.”

Other events included the unveiling of amenity spaces at 70 Vestry with celebrity event planner, Bronson Van Wyck, a masterclass in architecture and design at 40 East End Avenue with architect and Dean of the Yale School of Architecture, Deborah Burke and Stephen Brockman and a one-night-only light installation in Waterline Square Park by artist Luigi Cazzaniga.

“As we approach the fourth year of CS Talks, we always find incredible stories to tell about our properties, producing totally original content that inspires agents, developers, and many throughout the industry,” said Kelly Kennedy Mack, President of Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group.

“These stories speak to the many talented people that help shape developments and their surrounding neighborhoods.”
