GFP Real Estate Inks Three Leases Totaling 14,492 SF at 515 Madison in Manhattan’s Plaza District

 GFP Real Estate, LLC is pleased to announce three lease transactions totaling 14,492 square feet at 515 Madison Ave. in Manhattan’s Plaza District. 

“It is encouraging to see so many of our long-term tenants extend their leases as we continue to put the worst of the pandemic behind us,” said Martin McGrath, senior managing director of GFP Real Estate. “515 Madison continues to see strong leasing activity due to its incredible location in the Plaza District.”

Martin McGrath of GFP Real Estate represented the landlord, GFP Real Estate in each of the transactions below.

·       Sheldon A. Sinnett, D.C. P.C., a New York City-Based chiropractor and applied kinesiologist, signed a seven-year lease extension for 9,477 square feet on the 6th floor.  David Levy of Adams & Co. represented the tenant in the transaction.

·       Widowski Law Group LLP, a law firm specializing in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, finance, workouts, and leasing, signed a five-year lease renewal for its 3,046-square-foot space on the fifth floor. Martin McGrath of GFP Real Estate represented the tenant in the transaction.

·       RSHR Management, led by Dr. Roy B. Stoller, a board-certified facial plastic surgeon with over 25 years of experience in hair restoration medicine and surgery, signed a three-year lease extension for its 1,969 square feet on the 12th floor. Martin McGrath of GFP Real Estate represented the tenant in the transaction.

Built in 1932 and known as the DuMont Building, 515 Madison is a 42-story, 370,000-square-foot class A building designed by John H. Carpenter. One of the building’s most distinctive features is a broadcasting antenna that traces back to the building’s role in the first television broadcasts of Allen B. DuMont’s experimental television station W2XWV in 1938. This building’s careful restoration of its renovated entrance and lobby in 2009 kept its beautiful architectural elements intact yet modernized for today’s tenants.

Located just south of Central Park, 515 Madison provides access to a multitude of dining options and well-known landmarks like the New York City Center for Performing Arts, Carnegie Hall and Rockefeller Center, which are all just a short walk away. The E and M trains are located in the building and the 6 train is only a block away, providing convenient transportation options.
