Former grocery headquarters makes office, retail debut

The property previously houses Bohack corporate offices

Cushman & Wakefield has been retained to market for lease the office and retail components of Bohack Square, a redeveloped mixed-use commercial complex at 50-05 Metropolitan Avenue in the Ridgewood neighborhood of Queens.

On the site of the former headquarters of the historic grocery store chain Bohack’s, the property is ready to lease 30,000 s/f of Class A ground floor retail and 28,000 s/f of office space, both with on-site parking.

A Cushman & Wakefield team consisting of Stephen R. Preuss, Joshua A. Kleinberg, Adam Malitz, Rani Bendary and Dale Braverman will be leading the marketing efforts on behalf of the property’s landlord, Metropolitan Realty, LLC.

“50-05 Metropolitan Avenue offers state-of-the-art office and retail space, as well as on-site parking, which can often prove difficult to find simultaneously,” said Preuss.

Located at the crossroads of the city’s fastest-growing boroughs and the former headquarters site of a historic New York business, Bohack Square is well-positioned to continue to attract commerce following a recent best-in-class redevelopment,” added Kleinberg.
