Fishers Bros. signs 130,000 s/f lease with Equitable Financial at 1345 6th

Fisher Brothers has signed a 130,000 s/f office lease with Equitable Financial Life Insurance Company at 1345 Avenue of the Americas.

The leading financial services organization will relocate from 1290 Avenue of the Americas to multiple floors of the midtown tower.

When they move into the building, they’ll have access to a host of unparalleled experiences including an AR enhanced public art activation, outdoor space that includes unique high-end dining, our world-class amenity center @Ease1345 designed designed in collaboration with David Rockwell, and our soon-to-be-announced tenant app,” said Ken Fisher, Partner at Fisher Brothers.


“Our capital investments in 1345 Avenue of the Americas have completely transformed the office tower, surrounding plaza and park through modern design and substantial infrastructure upgrades to accommodate a variety of renowned tenants from notable industries.”

Marc Packman, Head of Leasing and Clark Briffel, Director of Leasing at Fisher Brothers led negotiations on behalf of the owner. Equitable Financial Life Insurance Company was represented by JLL’s Matthew Astrachan, Daniel Turkewitz and Allison Melichar.

Fisher Brothers will soon complete a more than $100 million capital improvement project and renovation of 1345 Avenue of the Americas. New improvements bring a host of tailored experiences for the public to enjoy in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood including boosted WiFi in the public park space, interactive, public art sculptures and a new augmented reality art experience. Building improvements include a new, artfully designed lobby with upgraded elevators and HVAC systems that utilize UV light, and the addition of a new amenity floor with bespoke amenity manager Ease Hospitality.

The building’s robust amenity package, complete with town hall style conference capabilities, on-site food and beverage and co-working amenities, provided additional space flexibility and efficiency, while better supporting the needs of its employees.
