Empire Outlets, the 350,000 s/f retail complex in the St. George neighborhood of Staten Island, announced the opening of the first-ever Staten Island location of boutique retailer Patterns & Dots, an affordable women’s fashion clothing brand.
The NYC-based business is currently in the process of rolling out several other locations across the city and has chosen Empire Outlets for their Staten Island debut.
“We are thrilled to welcome Patterns & Dots to Empire Outlets, and are proud to welcome this inclusive fashion company to our community,” said Joseph Ferrara, Principal at BFC Partners. “We know that investing in local business is a crucial part of COVID recovery, and we are excited to continue offering diverse retailers on our premises.”
Patterns & Dots will occupy a 4,912 s/f store at the property. “We are embarking upon an exciting expansion period, and are delighted to open our first-ever Staten Island location at Empire Outlets,” said Carmen Wamre, Senior VP of Stores of Patterns & Dots. “We are widening our reach for our inclusive and accessible clothing, and this location brings us another step closer in providing affordable fashion to all New Yorkers.”
Steps from the Staten Island ferry, set back from a beautiful waterfront esplanade, Empire Outlets is New York City’s first and only shopping outlet, largely designed for open-air shopping.
