The Durst Organization yesterday (Tuesday) launched OneWTC.com, www.onewtc.com the website component of a new international marketing program to attract tenants from around the globe to the One World Trade Center.
Durst, which became the Port Authority’s equity partner in One World Trade Center in June 2011, holds primary responsibility for leasing, coordination of tenant fit-out and move-in, and property management. The company also manages the building’s broadcast center and will oversee the third-party developer and manager of its observation deck.
OneWTC.com provides commercial real estate brokers and prospective tenants the opportunity to see all that One World Trade Center has to offer by means of a virtual tour featuring floor-to-ceiling views in any direction from any floor, the ability to download stack and floor plans, artist renderings of planned amenities, and other technical information.
OneWTC.com is also home to a construction timeline showing the history of the construction from 2008 through today, including a slideshow of the progress.
Additionally, OneWTC.com provides news updates about the latest developments in the resurgent Lower Manhattan community.
For those interested in visiting the World Trade Center campus, OneWTC.com provides an overview of nearby restaurants, shops, businesses and entertainment venues.
Because the 16-acre World Trade Center site will be a destination for not only thousands of workers each day but also an attraction for millions of visitors to New York City every year, OneWTC.com provides details on the transportation network that will be housed in the newly built World Trade Center Transportation Hub.
The Hub will serve as the Grand Central Terminal for downtown and will provide access to 11 subway lines, PATH trains and ferry terminals, as well as extensive retail amenities being developed by the Port Authority in partnership with Westfield Group.

Visitors to OneWTC.com will be able to keep informed about the latest news related to the building and view archival videos of important events that have taken place there. For example, visitors can view footage of an on-site ceremony that took place on April 30, 2012, the day One World Trade Center became the tallest building along Manhattan’s skyline.
A video from March 15, 2012 shows British Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife Samantha visiting the building and the National September 11 Memorial. One video shows President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, Governors Cuomo and Christie, and Mayor Bloomberg visiting the building on June 14, 2012.
