Done Deals: Space chase in Brooklyn

An above average one bedroom in Williamsburg drew a crowd for DJK Residential agent Bianca Tickner.

When she priced #503 at 1 Powers Street to sell at $925,000, buyers flocked to see the apartment and Tickner had a deal wrapped up $15,000 over ask within four weeks.

According the DJK agent, at 780 s/f, the unit is larger that than the average New York one-bedroom (750 s/f, according to Naked Apartments).

Add in a 154 s/f private terrace, stainless steel kitchen, open living area and washer dryer, and Tickner said she had several offers for her seller to chose from that pushed the price nicely over the original low-ball ask.

The pet friendly building also has private residents parking, a rooftop deck, gym and extra storage.

Jeff Hannon of Douglas Elliman brought in the buyer in a deal that closed within 28 days.
