Agents should never underestimate the power of social media, says Citi Habitats agent David A. Palmieri.  

Palmieri recently found his clients their dream home at 1 Leroy Street, 2/3B after posting a video tour as an Instagram story. 

The three bedroom duplex has 19 ft. ceilings, a wall of windows and French doors that lead to a 430 s/f private terrace that caught the eye of his buyers.

“I attended a brokers’ open house at the property, and shot a quick video for my Instagram,” Palmieri said. 

“Just a few minutes later, an acquaintance messaged me and said he watched my video…. and wanted me to arrange a tour.”

“It was a classic case of love at first sight,” said Palmieri. “My buyers both share an affinity for the outdoors and the amazing outdoor space and quiet building were huge draws for them.”

After being listed by Compass agent Clea Kornell at $4.5 million, the home sold for $4,300,000 after seven weeks on the market.
