Done Deals: Go big — or don’t go home

That’s the view of Corcoran’s Karin Posvar Picket who advised her buyers to “bid aggressively” on unit 14A at 15 East 26th Street when it was listed at $5.3 million by Elliman’s Frances Katzen and Karen Davidson.

“My buyers knew this was the one for them the minute they walked in,” said Picket.

“It’s a spectacular apartment in a luxury full-service building fronting Madison Square Park. Between the fabulous views, the space and the layout, they said it was perfect and were smart enough to bid aggressively to make sure it would be theirs.”

According to the broker, “Unique and fabulous homes are not available long in this market. My spacious, mint exclusives are going to contract quickly and over ask, while my buyers looking for premier homes know they must move quickly and assertively to land what they want.”

This two-bedroom, 2.5 bath closed at $5.4 million after three days on the market.
