Digital media group inks 15,000 s/f NoMad lease

Himmel + Meringoff Properties announced that Kepler Group, a digital media agenc, which provides digital and database services to Fortune 500 brands, has signed a five-year 15,360 s/f lease covering the entire 9th floor of 6 East 32nd Street, an 11-story, 175,000 s/f boutique office building in NoMad.

The new lease represents an expansion for Kepler, which is currently a subtenant in the building.

Kepler’s space was achieved by recapturing space available for sublease from Delta Galil, an apparel firm.

The transaction is somewhat emblematic of the dynamic shift in tenancy in the current market as TAMI tenants fill spaces previously leased to more traditional companies.

“NoMad is a thriving sub-market within the greater Midtown South market that continues to be a powerful magnet for exciting technology and media companies,” said Leslie Himmel, who added that less than two months ago Dataminr, a leading real time information a discovery company, also signed a long-term commitment to lease two floors at 6 East 32nd Street. The building is now 100 percent leased.

Barry Lewen and Stacy Kelly of Coldwell Banker Commercial Alliance represented Kepler Group, while Jason Vacker acted in-house on behalf of ownership.
