Euro Properties, the developer building the luxury residential condominium tower at 118 East 59th Street, has joined forces with the New York St. Patrick’s Day Foundation, and the 69th Regimental Trust Advisory Committee to help preserve important historical artifacts that are housed within the regiment’s headquarters.
Euro Properties is supporting a campaign to restore these items and shine a spotlight on the pieces within the collection.

Que Yau Neo, CEO of Euro Properties, said, “Having served in the Armed Forces in my home country of Singapore, I am proud to help serve this regiment with its remarkable history. I am also honored to aid in their preservation of important historic documents that remind us of the vision of liberty at the heart of this nation.”
The 69th Regiment has become one of the most decorated units in the US Army with a history that dates back to 1748 and includes seven Congressional Medal of Honor winners. The regimental armory on Lexington Avenue includes a museum that houses a number of military artifacts that date back to the Civil War and the Great War.
Among these are items related to General William Donovan, former commander of the 69th. He is the only person to have received all four of the United States highest military awards and is known as the “father of Central Intelligence” as the initial director of the OSS (forerunner of the C.I.A.).
The 69th Regiment leads the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in New York City and this year, Euro Properties’ Mr. Neo marched with members of the Regiment to underscore his support for the restoration project.
