Cushman & Wakefield, Wells Fargo tips their hats to RE ladies

Global brokerage giant, Cushman & Wakefield, and banking and financial service firm, Wells Fargo,  have joined the ranks of sponsors of the 5th annual Real Estate Weekly Womenʼs Forum.

The two companies have become the latest to throw their support behind the May 11 event showcasing the real estate industryʼs top female leaders as they discuss market trends and new developments. Other sponsors include The Rockefeller Group and Eastern Consolidated, whose president, Daun Paris, said she was thrilled to be sponsoring the must-attend event.

“Our company’s reputation for attracting and growing talented women brokers and leaders is what this forum is designed to showcase,ˮ said Paris.

“Many of the top women brokers in New York City’s commercial real estate industry can be found at Eastern Consolidated and this tradition continues to grow.”

Jodi Stein, vice president of acquisitions and development at Lightstone, a silver sponsor, will be among the speakers.

She said, “Having been in the industry for some time, I’ve learned that once you’re comfortable with yourself and confident in what you’re saying, if you speak up, you’ll be heard.

“You have to prove yourself, but if you know what you’re talking about and learned the craft, people will listen to you when you speak.”

The 5th annual Real Estate Weekly Women’s Forum is being co-hosted by EisnerAmper. It will take place at the Bar Building, 36 West 44th Street, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. For information about sponsorship and tickets, go to www.rewwomensforum.com
