”We reserve the Executive Managing Director title for our most accomplished leaders who demonstrate superior leadership and operational excellence,” said Jim Reid, president, Eastern Division, CBRE. “Kyle has done a remarkable job driving best practices in the New York Tri-State Region and across the country. Her promotion reflects her notable successes in fostering continuous improvement and superior performance for CBRE and for our clients.”

“Day after day, Kyle brings passion and focus to managing a large and highly talented group of brokers,” said Matt Van Buren, president, NY Tri-State Region, CBRE. “She has immersed herself deeply into the intricacies of the Manhattan office market, adding her insight to our analysis of market conditions and becoming a key ‘voice’ on marketplace trends. I congratulate Kyle on her most-deserved promotion.”

Schoppmann joined CBRE in 2007. As head of Occupier Services, she directs Brokerage Services for CBRE’s Midtown Manhattan office, overseeing day-to-day sales operations with responsibility for the development and management of 120 sales professionals.

In addition, she directs the creation and implementation of tools and training to support the brokerage professionals’ success. As the New York Tri-State Region’s chief strategist she leads the annual strategic planning process.

Schoppmann also chairs CBRE’s Global Law Firm Practice Group, where she is responsible for defining global real estate solutions and best practices for law firm clients. She co-authored a CBRE Special Report, Law Firms Build a Case for Green, which highlighted recent trends in law firm sustainability practices.

With more than 20 years of management experience, Schoppmann was previously a consulting partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Subsequently, she joined IBM, where she worked with C-level executives as a trusted business advisor.

A 2009-2010 Partnership for New York City David Rockefeller Fellow, Schoppmann graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, and received a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Michigan.
