Ava Kim, of AKRE NYC, has closed on a new Greenwich Village retail lease for skincare specialists SkinSpoke.
Founded by esthetician Carol Chan in 2017, SkinSpoke serves the beauty industry’s most notable faces including top models, fashion designers and editors from Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.
The studio is relocating to a 750 s/f space on the ground floor of 49 West 12th Street. Kim represented the tenant in the five-year lease. Mark Tergesen and Cooper Katz of ABS Real Estate represented the landlord. Asking rent was $4,500 per month.
A 20-year veteran of the beauty industry, Chan is considered among most trusted facialists in New York and regularly shares her skin care views television and in the media. SkinSpoke uses medical-grade skincare equipment for anti-aging and acne treatments and provides its services to countless women for their most important days, from brides to models needing restoration from a grueling work schedule or mothers’ experiencing hormonal changes to their complexion.
