IOREBA Holiday Party
Dec. 2: The Industrial and Office Real Estate Brokers Association of the New York Metropolitan Area (IOREBA) will host its annual holiday party from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Highlawn Pavilion in West Orange, New Jersey. The event takes place on the top floor of the Highlawn Pavilion and will include an open bar with a buffet reception. IOREBA is once again extending its appreciation to all real estate developers by extending a free invitation to this holiday event for those that pre-register. Empire Ball
Dec. 11: The Real Estate Division of the Diabetes Research Institute will host the annual Empire Ball at the Grand Hyatt in New York City . The fundraiser aims to raise $1.5 million in support of the Diabetes Research Institute (DRI), located at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. This year’s Empire Ball honors Simon Wasserberger, Senior Vice President, EQ Office, Robert Scheinman, Principal, J.T. Magen & Company Inc, and Mark Gregorio, President, TEI Group. To celebrate Thanksgiving, the Arker Companies, in partnership with Omni New York, Dabar Development Partners and Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation, hosted a giveaway of more than 2,600 turkeys to New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) residents in nine developments across Brooklyn. The Arker Companies and partners were selected earlier this year to repair, refurbish and manage these NYCHA sites as part of the Permanent Affordability Commitment Together (PACT) program.
