WCR Luncheon
April 28: The Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR), Empire Westchester Business Resource Network will hold a Kentucky Derby Spring Luncheon at Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Individual tickets are $125 and reserved tables of 10 are $1,250. RFNY Cocktail Party
April 28: The Realty Foundation of New York (RFNY) will honor Christopher Schlank and Nicholas Bienstock, co-managing partners of Savanna, one of New York’s leading real estate private equity and asset management firms, at the organization’s second annual cocktail party. Musical Theater
April 29: Vickey Barron of Douglas Elliman and Tema Blackstone of Julliard School launched the “Stella Series” earlier this month. This edition of the event will feature a night of Broadway’s Musical Theater featuring some of New York City’s best stage performers and songwriters. The event will take place at Stella Tower, 425 West 50th Street.

LIBI Anniversary
April 30: The Long Island Builders Institute (LIBI) will celebrate its 75th Anniversary at a Galaat the Huntington Crescent Club. Ira Adler, Partner at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP and Charles Mancini, Principal of the Park Ridge Organization are the Co-Chairs of the event. B’nai B’rith Luncheon
May 3: James Ramsey, Principal, RAAD, will speak on “Creating the Lowline—New York City’s First Underground Park’” at noon at the Cornell Club, 6 East 44th Street, Ivy Room. Ramsey, a former NASA engineer, and Dan Barasch are building The Lowline, a three-block subterranean park, below Delancey Street at an estimated cost of $60-75 million. Ramsey made a special solar system to funnel in light at 30 times the intensity of regular sunlight. Admission is $70 up to two days in advance and $80 at the door. HGAR Red Carpet Spectacular
May 5: The Hudson Gateway REALTOR® Foundation, a division of the Hudson Gateway Association of REALTORS® (HGAR), is hosting an exciting “Red Carpet Spectacular” Cocktail Party on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Clubhouse at Patriot Hills in Stony Point, NY. May 5: The Commercial Industrial Brokers Society (CIBS) and The Retail Network (TRN) will present a panel discussion on “The Evolution of Retail Space on Long Island.” The discussion, which will take place in the lower level auditorium at the RXR Executive Center, 58. May 6: Three of New York City’s major real estate developers will join together to discuss current trends in the city’s real estate \ during a morning panel discussion. Panelists are William Mack, of Mack Real Estate Group, Harry Macklowe, of Macklowe Properties, and Larry Silverstein, of Silverstein Properties, will be joined by panel moderator Richard Baker, governor and executive chairman of Hudson’s Bay Company (HBC).
