Ariel Property Advisors was pleased to host its first annual awards ceremony, an in-person event which included awards for the top producers, leaders, and rising stars within the company for 2021, as well as new promotion announcements.
The awards for Top Producers and Silver Club were given to those who had excelled in the last year and seen significant deal and transaction successes/. Sean R. Kelly, Senior Director; Matt Swerdlow, Senior Director, Capital Services; Jonathan Berman, Senior Director, Investment Sales; and Eli Weisblum, Senior Director, Capital Services were recognized for their outstanding work and dedication, as well as the immense value they’ve added to the APA team.
The Local Leadership All-Star Award was given to Remi Mandell, Associate Director, Research and Sales. In addition to her other interests, Mandell actively participates on UJA’s Real Estate Executives (REX) Next Committee and in other organizations to help give back and support her community. She also ran APA summer internship programs with the Chapin School and Legal Outreach, as well as continuing to participate in various volunteer opportunities.
The Force Multiplier Award was presented to Drew Chartash, Senior Associate in the Capital Services Division, and Branko Popovic, Market Research Manager in the Investment Research Division. This award was given to both Drew and Branko for consistently going above and beyond allowing their teams to multiply results. Chartash was recognized due to his critical thinking on procedures, underwriting models, and consistent support for the capital services division, all of which have led to improvements across the board. Popovic leads the research department at Ariel, and has exemplified diligence to consistently improve the team’s strategic planning and process. He also has been involved in new hire training and is always seeking feedback and self-improvement opportunities.
A number of promotions were announced:

● Matt Dzbanek has been promoted to Senior Director, Capital Services
