In a transaction arranged by the Savitt Partners managing directors Hector Rodriguez and Elliot Zelinger, social and mobile game developer FreshPlanet, Inc. has inked a 12,510 s/f office lease at 19 West 34th Street.
Publisher and developer of social and mobile gaming apps including the top-ranked SongPop, the firm is relocating from 311 West 43rd Street in response to unparalleled growth over the past several years.
The company currently has 25 employees, but the new space will accommodate 80 professionals.
FreshPlanet is the latest tech firm relocating its business to the 34th Street area joining other prominent companies including LinkedIn and Shutterstock Images.
“After an extensive market search spanning from Midtown to the Financial District, we were able to work with the ownership of 19 West 34th Street to create the amount of space our client required,” noted Rodriguez.

“With its high ceilings, abundant natural light, wood floors and a number of convenient transportation options, the space was ideal for FreshPlanet’s rapidly growing business.”
Added Zelinger, “FreshPlanet is planning to develop its own uniquely designed offices within the 163,600 s/f, 13-story boutique office building, which recently underwent a complete lobby renovation. The new location, which was formerly home to an engineering firm, will provide FreshPlanet with an architecturally significant space that will attract the most coveted and creative talent to its expanding firm.”
Ownership was represented by its principal, Scott Domansky of PRD Realty.
