Americas’s Capital Partners refinances debt

Square Mile Capital Management announced that it has originated a $63 million loan secured by Three, Five, and Six Coliseum Centre, a three-building office portfolio located in the airport submarket of Charlotte, NC.
The loan was made to America’s Capital Partners and includes proceeds to refinance existing debt and fund future leasing costs.
The financing was arranged by Michael Ryan, Brian Linnihan and Richard Henry of Cushman & Wakefield’s Atlanta office.
Square Mile Capital Principal Eric Cohen said, “We are pleased to continue our lending relationship with America’s Capital Partners, a firm that has a strong track record and demonstrated ability to effectively execute business plans at high quality office assets throughout the United States. We believe that positive momentum in the Airport submarket combined with the hands-on management style of the owner’s team will position Coliseum Centre for continued success.”
The portfolio sits within the Airport submarket of Charlotte, the city’s second largest office submarket.
The submarket has experienced significant growth and continues to transform through major redevelopments including City Park Charlotte, the adjacent mixed-use development featuring over 2,500 residential units, 200,000 square feet of retail and 350 hotel rooms. Square Mile Capital also provided a $121 million loan to America’s Capital Partners in 2018, secured by The Towers at Wildwood Plaza, an office complex located in Atlanta, GA.
