Accounting firm EisnerAmper signed a lease for 150,865 s/f at 750 Third Avenue, expanding their existing 138,000 s/f footprint by 12,000 s/f.
The full-service accounting and advisory firm signed an eight-year lease that renews their space on floors 13 through 17 as well as 21, and adds 12,000 s/f of space on the 22nd floor.
The building, also known as Grand Central Square, is a modern 34-story building with floors ranging from 11,600 to 43,000 rsf.
Newmark Grubb Knight Frank vice chairman Mark Weiss represented the EisnerAmper along with Rob Eisenberg and Robert Emden. Weiss said the lease renewal with the accounting firm, which has been in the space since 2002, went smoothly.

“The people from SL Green run a very professional operation,” he said of the building’s landlord.
Other notable tenants at 750 Third Avenue include Marcum LLP, Endurance, Reinsurance, Advance Magazine Publishers, Schonbraun McCann Group, and Connolly’s Restaurant.
EisnerAmper is one of the largest accounting firms in the nation, with nearly 1,300 employees, including 180 partners. The firm has offices in New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, California, and the Cayman Islands. SL Green Realty Corp announced Monday that the lease was the highlight of a very active first two months of leasing for the company, with a total of 35 leases covering 457,677 s/f signed in the company’s Manhattan portfolio since the year began.
And more than 600,000 s/f of leases is currently in the works, according to a press release from the company.
“Even though first-quarter leasing is typically slow, we entered 2013 with confidence, given our overall assessment of the New York commercial real estate market and knowing what we had in the pipeline at that point. Our results and activity since January have far outpaced our expectations,” said SL Green CEO Marc Holliday.
