Woodmont Industrial Partners (Woodmont) today announced the start of construction at 51 New Brunswick Avenue in Woodbridge, New Jersey. The property will feature 54,113 square feet of industrial space and is expected to reach completion in the second quarter of 2023.

“We welcome the development at 51 New Brunswick Avenue, as it will not only generate quality jobs but also bring economic benefits to Woodbridge and our residents long-term,” said Woodbridge Mayor John E. McCormac. “Woodmont has truly shown its value as a partner for this town, and we’re honored to celebrate this milestone today alongside several members of their esteemed team.”

Woodmont acquired the site in April 2022.

“Woodbridge presents an incredible opportunity for companies looking to establish a regional hub, headquarters, or last-mile delivery center, as it offers access to an exceptional labor force and several main thoroughfares,” said Anthony Amadeo, Vice President of Woodmont. “Today’s groundbreaking marks an exciting milestone for all stakeholders in Woodbridge as the industrial real estate market in prime locations is in high demand. We look forward to starting construction on our newest locations in New Jersey and beyond.”

Over the past year, Woodmont has executed several key acquisitions in the most active industrial growth markets in the country, adding approximately 6 million square feet to its portfolio. Most recently, the team celebrated the groundbreaking of a 152,100-square-foot Class A warehouse in South Amboy, New Jersey, the construction and leasing of a 212,000-square-foot newly constructed Class A warehouse building in Jupiter, Florida, and will begin the redevelopment and construction on 209,000 square feet in South Brunswick, New Jersey this Fall. The team remains incredibly active in the northeast, southeast, and southwest regions of the US with over 10 million square feet in its active pipeline for development and/or renovation.
