Real Estate Weekly’s Holly Dutton will moderate a panel focused on cutting edge technology at today’s REW Women’s Forum.
Dutton will discuss the newest applications being used by Jodi Berman, Director – Residential Leasing, Stonehenge Management; Suzanne Carlson, Principal, NBBJ; Diane Danielson, Chief Operating Officer, Sperry Van Ness and; Sara Queen, Senior Vice President, Brookfield Asset Management.
Other speakers during the day-long event include Helena Durst, vice president at the Durst Organization, who will take part in a a real estate Masterclass at the fourth annual Real EstateWeekly Forum on February 25.
Durst is involved in several major projects being developed by her family’s company, including the much anticipated West 57 residential property.
The building, on 57th Street between 11th and 12th Avenues, has an unusual pyramid-shaped design by Danish architect Bjarke Ingels.
Once complete, it will have a little more than 700 units and 50,000 s/f of amenities.
The Masterclass will also include Lauren Crowley Corrinet, vice president – Consulting Group, CBRE, Marian Klein Feldt, senior vice president, Park Tower Group, Jennifer Novack, managing partner, Sousou Partners and, Kimberly Sherman Stamler, chief operating officer, Related Beal.
Nearly 600 women are expected to take part in the Forum, which will take place at the Wyndham New Yorker Hotel on Wednesday February 25. This year’s theme is “Women Helping Women” and panels will cover subjects ranging from construction, development, sustainability, capital raising and information technology.
Halstead Property CEO and co-founder Diane Ramirez will reflect on her 35-year career and the importance of choosing the right mentor during a conversation with REBNY’s Eileen Spinola.
And Purnima Kapur, executive director of the New York City planning department, will give the morning keynote speech at the Women’s Forum.
A 25-year veteran of city planning Kapur, has been involved in affordable housing negotiations throughout the city..
