WHO’S NEWS: Nikki Field appoints new Middle East representative; Stribling makes room for digital director

Compass announced that Toni Haber has joined the company along with her four-member team.
A 30-year industry veteran with more than $1 billion in domestic and international sales, Haber joins Compass from Douglas


Elliman where, for the past 27 years, her team was ranked among the firm’s most prolific.
The Haber Team has also consistently been named to REAL Trends/ The Wall Street Journal’s list of the top thousand real estate teams in the country, as well as REAL Trend’s Best Agents in America.
Haber has set numerous penthouse sale and price-per-square-foot records across Manhattan, and has a vast portfolio of clientele in New York City, the Hamptons, Aspen, Connecticut, Florida, California, as well as Europe.
Joining her at Compass from Elliman will be her wife Carol Burns, a 25-year finance industry veteran with both not-for-profit and private sector experience; Victoria Frost, a seasoned real estate professional with 10 years of combined experience in both New York City and Los Angeles; and Jared Brown who has 12 years of industry sales experience in both New York City and Los Angeles.
TOWN Residential announced that 17-year industry veteran Reginald Fairchild has joined the firm’s Fifth Avenue office, which is managed by Dorothy Sexton and Gary Lacy.
Fairchild offers clients expertise in the New York City real estate market, as well as the South Florida markets of Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Miami.


The homes that he has represented include the residence of a former U.S. President and an architecturally significant townhouse listed in The Historic Register of Homes.
Previously with Brown Harris Stevens | Zilbert in Miami, Fairchild has held positions with ONE Sotheby’s International Realty and Sotheby’s International Realty’s Palm Beach brokerage.
He began his real estate sales career in New York City as a sales agent.
Prior to entering real estate, Reginald honed his client-centered approach through a successful 20-year career as a fashion designer.
Fairchild holds a bachelor’s degree from the American College in Lucerne, Switzerland.
TOWN Residential announced that Michelle Jason and Christian Mendez have joined the firm’s Upper East Side office managed by Juliet Clapp.
Michelle Jason is a result-driven 10-year industry veteran who capably assists buyers, sellers and renters from Downton to Harlem.
Originally from Edison, New Jersey, Jason was previously with Halstead Property.
She received a BA in English from the University of Delaware.
Just as Christian Mendez helped people in his prior career as a social worker, he helps his real estate clients find a home as a trusted and caring Representative who is focused on their needs.
Mendez specializes in rentals in Midtown East and on the Upper East Side where he resides.
He holds a bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Puerto Rico.
Charles Rutenberg, LLC announced that Sharah Shaddock, Rosy Klein, Jennifer Vola and Maggie Valette have joined the firm.
Sharah Shaddock, Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, graduated from Shippensburg University, in Pennsylvania, with a BSBA in Marketing.
Rosy Klein, Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, comes from Halstead Property. She has been involved in real estate for the past 19 years since she moved to New York.
Jennifer Vola, Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, comes from Daniel Gale Sotheby’s.
She got into real estate because she wanted to invest in property herself. A born-and-raised New Yorker, she has lived in the West Village and the Hamptons for many years.
Maggie Valette, Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, comes from Essential New York Real Estate LLC.
She has worked on the Upper East side, Park Avenue for over eight years; she knows Upper West side, Fifth Avenue, Central Park South, Central Park West, Hudson Heights, Washington Heights, Harlem and other areas in New York.
She is fluent in Spanish, and she is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY).
TOWN Residential announced that 20-plus-year international real estate veteran Eric Roche has joined the firm as Global Property Representative EMEA at TOWN Fifth Avenue.
The office is managed by Dorothy Sexton and Gary Lacy.


Roche was the key driver in the creation of Gulf Sotheby’s International Realty office in Dubai. In five years, Gulf Sotheby’s International Realty became the largest franchise by territory count within the company’s portfolio.
With a particular focus in the United States and Middle East, Roche maintains strong ties to the real estate markets in the United Kingdom and Europe as well.
Roche is of French and Colombian heritage and was educated in Switzerland, culminating in a degree in Economics from the American College of Switzerland.
He speaks five languages and contributes his time to EMILIE Humanitary, a non-profit medical organization providing equipment, medicine and services in developing nations.


Leigh Williamson of Gulf Sotheby’s International Realty in Dubai has been named the key Middle East Network Representative to The Field Team at Sotheby’s International Realty – East Side Manhattan Brokerage.
As a representative to the team lead by eponymous founder Nikki Field beginning in September 2016, Williamson will now introduce her Middle East clients in New York to experts on The Field Team to help better service The Field Team’s international clientele.
Williamson is an Associate for Project Developments at Gulf Sotheby’s International Realty.
She brings with her over eight years of expertise in selling luxury real estate and investments in the Middle East region, with a significant sales record of over $80 million and a strong client network comprising of affluent individuals from the Middle East and influential members of the society worldwide.
Stribling & Associates announced that Danielle Garofalo has joined the firm in a newly created position as Director of Digital and Agent Strategy.
Garofalo is an accomplished digital strategist and has an extensive background in social media relations having advised top-level companies across the industry.
She previously ran her own consulting firm for clients such as Goldman Sachs, UBS, Sotheby’s, Douglas Elliman and Compass in addition to individual top agents at brokerage firms throughout the tri-state area.
At Stribling & Associates, her focus will be on increasing the brand’s corporate digital footprint and working with agents on their own connectivity and outreach.
She is based out of Stribling’s Upper East Side location at 924 Madison Avenue.
In addition, Stribling has named Downtown authority Dennis Cusack to take over the managerial position of Stribling’s downtown office locations including Chelsea and Tribeca.
Originally hailing from Chicago, Cusack is a familiar face to Stribling, having been with the firm for several years.
William Raveis announced the appointment of two real estate industry veterans, Amy Kane and Jason Wilson, both of whom join William Raveis from leadership positions with the Sotheby’s International Realty network.
Kane will serve as senior vice president of the Westchester and Lower Fairfield region, while Wilson has been appointed to vice president of William Raveis’ affiliate offices, as well as vice president, regional director of operations for William Raveis Real Estate.
Amy Kane joins William Raveis from ONE Sotheby’s International Realty in Miami Beach, FL, where she served as director of sales and managed more than 175 agents in multiple offices.
She previously worked as an executive vice president, sales at Douglas Elliman in TriBeCa. From
2006 to 2012, she was regional vice president and later senior regional vice president for Houlihan Lawrence, with supervision over nine offices.
Kane has also served as a senior vice president at Prudential Holmes & Kennedy in Westchester County, NY, and has an extensive sales and executive coaching background.
Jason Wilson most recently served as branch manager at Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty in Westchester, where he was lauded for growing the firm’s Scarsdale, NY office, which he has managed for nearly six years.
He also served as co-manager of the firm’s Irvington, NY location. He has been in sales and management for more than 18 years, including serving as a branch manager and licensed associate broker at Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty and as an associate broker at Houlihan Lawrence.
A serial entrepreneur who founded and was managing director of Wireless Depot North America, Wilson has held leadership positions with Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors and the New York State Associations of Realtors.
He is a certified New York State real estate instructor and co-founder and former chair of the HGAR Young Professional Network (YPN).
Jeff Barnett, vice president and regional manager for Alain Pinel Realtors, has been named vice chair of the National Association of Realtors (N.A.R.) Large Residential Firms Real Estate Advisory Group.
The Large Residential Firms Real Estate Advisory Group is part the organization’s Realtor Leadership 2017 program.
Barnett joined Alain Pinel Realtors in 1991 after beginning his career in real estate in the late 1980s at Fox & Carskadon.
Barnett rose quickly at Alain Pinel Realtors’ and grew the Los Gatos office to more $ billion in closed sales annually.
