Cushman & Wakefield announced that Karen Buck,a former national marketing executive for agency services at CBRE, has joined the firm as a marketing director.

Buck brings two decades of commercial real estate marketing and business development experience to Cushman & Wakefield, having held senior-level positions with the Edward S. Gordon Company, Insignia/ESG, and, most recently, CBRE.
While at CBRE, Buck supported major solicitation efforts for select, high-profile pursuits – developing content, coordinating the overall message, and ensuring consistent branding. Her responsibilities included providing strategic guidance, marketing support, and quality control for strategic new business pursuits across the country for agency and brokerage assignments, as well as for capital markets, corporate services and property management pursuits.
She is a graduate of Iona College and has a Masters Degree in Communications and Media Studies from Fordham University.

NAI James E. Hanson announced that vice presidents Jeffrey W. DeMagistris and Thomas A. Vetter have achieved The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designation.
The society certifies its members with the prestigious SIOR designation as a professional symbol of the highest level of knowledge, production and ethics in the real estate industry.
With DeMagistris and Vetter joining the ranks of seven other members of NAI Hanson who hold the SIOR designation, the firm now has the most SIOR designated professionals among commercial real estate firms in New Jersey.

SCG Retail announced the hiring of Luke McGeehan for the position of GIS director based in their Columbus Circle office.
This new position is part of a technology-driven initiative to provide better street insights for clients.
McGeehan is a recent graduate from the school of architecture, preservation and planning at Columbia University.
He worked for the Fashion Center Business Improvement District in NYC where he provided detail mapping and analysis. He also worked at the Department of Environmental Protection where he was a GIS editor.

Sabre Real Estate Group LLC announced that it has added Jessica Bianculli as a senior associate in its Garden City office.

Bianculli, who has several years of experience in the real estate industry, currently focuses her efforts primarily on landlord and tenant representation in Long Island and the Outer Boroughs of New York City.
Prior to joining Sabre, Bianculli worked for Douglas Elliman in its commercial division, where she concentrated on landlord and tenant representation.
She currently is working on leasing several development projects as well as assisting on expansion programs for some of Sabre’s national accounts.
Bianculli has a bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in business from Queens College.

Eastern Union Funding announced the appointment of senior vice president Jack Adler, former vice president at Meridian Capital.
Adler will run underwriting and placement for Eastern’s New York office.
With more than 600 commercial loans totaling approximately $3.7 billion under his belt, Adler’s numbers tell an impressive story.
At Meridian, he acted as primary point of contact for one of the senior partner’s client base and also managed complete commercial loan processes from preliminary stages through closing.

Lucey, previously a senior director at Tishman Speyer where she headed up Global Corporate Marketing, will be responsible for enhancing Massey Knakal’s brand and marketing platform.
Lucey comes to Massey Knakal with over 20 years of experience building and managing premium global brands, primarily in the financial services and real estate sectors.
At Tishman Speyer, she drove and oversaw the development and implementation of integrated corporate, investor, and property marketing programs in over 40 markets throughout the US, Europe, South America, and Asia.
Earlier, Lucey spent time as the senior vice president, management director for Ameriprise Financial (AFI) at Saatchi & Saatchi, vice president of advertising for Merrill Lynch’s Global Private Client Marketing Group, as well as account director for Citibank Consumer Products at Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners in Manhattan.

Situs announced the expansion of its valuation management business with the appointment of George Mann, MAI, CRE, FRICS, as director.
Also joining the group is Enio Russe-Garcia, MAI, MRICS, SRA as vice president overseeing Situs’ valuation review business in Puerto Rico.
Mann boasts more than 25 years of experience in the real estate appraisal business, with the majority of his career spent as chief appraiser for Fifth Third Bank and SunTrust Bank.
He is also an Approved National Instructor for the Appraisal Institute and for the Appraisal Standards Board.
Enio Russe-Garcia brings more than 20 years of experience in the real estate appraisal business as both a fee and bank review appraiser.
He was the former chief appraiser for Banco Santander and his career has focused on valuation work in Florida and Puerto Rico.
