JLL announced that Andrew Zezas, SIOR, CEO of New Jersey-based Real Estate Strategies Corp., has joined the firm’s New Jersey office as a managing director.
Joining Zezas are RealStrat’s leadership team, Paulo Santos and Christopher Borgese.
Zezas, Santos and Borgese will be part of JLL’s brokerage team, led by Dan Loughlin, international director and head of New Jersey brokerage.
Zezas and his team will be responsible for new business development, with a focus on cultivating relationships with CFOs and other C-Suite executives.
They will also provide real estate advisory and tenant representation services to space users throughout New Jersey, as well as other parts of the United States.
Zezas has nearly three decades of experience in the New Jersey real estate market.
Founded in 2002, RealStrat’s clients have included financial executives and senior management at public, private and non-profit corporations in a range of industries throughout the United States.
Santos is a licensed real estate salesperson with 19 years of experience in information technology.
Borgese, also a licensed real estate salesperson, has experience marketing to C-level leaders.

Vanessa Fernandez has joined retail real estate services firm Levin Management as a leasing representative.
Fernandez is responsible for leasing and marketing efforts at two New Jersey properties within the company’s shopping center portfolio: Clifton Plaza in Clifton and Fords Shopping Center in Fords. Fernandez brings seven years of retail real estate industry experience to Levin. Most recently, she was a specialty leasing manager at Westfield Corporation, where she provided leasing services for three malls in Connecticut.
She also spent several years at Vornado Realty Trust, providing construction coordination services for the firm’s mall tenants.
Fernandez holds membership in the International Council of Shopping Centers.

The Advantage Group announced Stuart Gelb as has been named Commercial Finance Director at its mortgage financing subsidiary, Mortgage Advantage.
Gelb has an extensive real estate background in management and finance with broad business connections to banks, brokerages and the construction industry.
In addition to his role at Mortgage Advantage, Gelb continues to run The Liquidity Source, a NY-based financial and advisory firm specializing in real estate and debt placement, which he founded in 2008.
He also manages family commercial real estate in the metro area; is president of the condominium board for 210 Lafayette Street, known as One Kenmare Square, in Manhattan; and serves on the Zoning Board of Kings Point Long Island in Great Neck, NY where he resides.

Sahn Ward Coschignano, PLLC has announced that Joshua D. Brookstein has joined the firm as an Associate.
Brookstein concentrates his practice in litigation and appeals, criminal defense, zoning and land use, and municipal law.
Prior to joining the firm, Brookstein served as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department, Family Court Division. As a member of the Special Victims Unit, he handled felony and misdemeanor cases from inception through trial.
Prior to earning his law degree, Brookstein had nearly ten years of experience as a teacher and an Assistant Principal with the New York City Department of Education.
Brookstein was admitted to practice law in New York in 2012. He is a member of the New
York City Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association, where he sits on the Education & Law Committee and Young Lawyers Section Executive Committee, respectively.
He is also a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, where he sits on the Community Relations & Public Education Committee.
He graduated from Muhlenberg College with his Bachelor of Arts in Business and Political Management. He later earned his Master of Science in Teaching from Fordham University and Master of Education from Bank Street College of Education.
Brookstein earned his law degree from New York Law School, where he was the Student Commencement Speaker and an Arthur Abbey Public Service Fellow.

The Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation announced Sukanya Paciorek has been named Executive Vice President, Head of Asset Management.
Paciorek will be charged with managing the Yard’s assets, including nearly four million square feet of leasing space and overseeing all facilities management for the Yard’s 40 plus buildings.
Previously, Paciorek served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Sustainability for Vornado Realty Trust. In this role, she developed and led Vornado’s corporate sustainability strategy, energy management and efficiency efforts, including the vetting and implementation of large scale new technologies.
Paciorek also executed operations and managed the utilities group for Vornado’s New York Division, including energy procurement and accounting, with an annual expense of over $100 million.
Before Vornado, Paciorek worked in the energy industry as an Advisor at Poten & Partners, where she provided commercial brokerage, consulting and advisory services. She previously also worked as a Political Advisor at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations.
Paciorek holds a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from The Ohio State University.

Curtis Nassau of Ripco Real Estate announced the addition of two more sales people and one more marketing specialist to the ranks of their Lyndhurst office.
Jake Frantzman joins Ripco from LEvin Management. He brings over ten years of experience in retail landlord representation.
At Levin, he was responsible for more than 1.6 million square feet of open air retail shopping centers throughout the company portfolio. Prior to that, Frantzman worked for Levco where he was involved with shopping center rent collection, maintenance, leasing and marketing.
Matt Grundy, a recent graduate of Montclair State University, joins Ripco with previous real estate experience at Keller Williams Realty.
He will be working on a mix of retail landlord and tenant assignments.
Juliann Schwartz, with an expertise in social media, will be the third dedicated marketing professional in the Lyndhurst, NJ office.

Isabel Freire has been named Assistant Director of Leasing and Marketing at Bergman Real Estate Group,.
Freire will represent Bergman on in-house leasing transactions and tenant relations, as well as developing marketing programs for the firm’s Northern and Central New Jersey office building portfolio.
A New Jersey licensed salesperson, Freire is a graduate of Pace University with a BBA in International Marketing.
With more than 15 years of commercial real estate experience, she joins Bergman Real Estate Group from Jones Lang LaSalle, where she served as leasing agent for the Northern
New Jersey market primarily focusing on Bergen and Hudson Counties.
Before that, she served as the Market Research Director for NAI James E. Hanson. Freire began her career in 2000 at Edward S. Gordan, now CBRE.

CBRE announced several new hires across its Telecom Advisory Services group, which is part of CBRE’s Valuation and Advisory Services Group.
Cris Kimbrough joined the company in the newly created role of Managing Director, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
She is an Archaeologist and Project Management Professional with more than 20 years of experience in cultural resources management and over seven years in the telecommunications industry.
Kimbrough has a Ph.D. in Anthropology from New York University and has acted as principal investigator for hundreds of archaeological assessments for telecommunications sites and has supervised the completion of historic resources surveys in over 40 states.
Talia Gilmore has been hired to the newly created position of Tribal Outreach Manager.
In this role, Gilmore will continue to update CBRE-IVI’s tribal tracking software, improving upon its ease of use and making it much more useful for instantly determining the status of tribal consultation on any given project.
Previously, as a Senior Tribal Coordinator for a national firm specializing in environmental and regulatory compliance for the telecommunications industry, she completed roughly 2,000 tribal consultations, often tracking and completing consultations for 150-300 sites at a time.
Laura Mancuso has joined CBRE-IVI to fill the newly created position of Director, Cultural Resources.
Mancuso has more than 10 years of experience as an Architectural Historian/Historic Preservation Professional and over five years of experience in the telecommunications field.
Ruthann Gates has joined as a Director, Project Management and Client Manager for the Western Region, working out of CBRE-IVI’s Phoenix, Ariz. office.
As a Project Manager for a national firm specializing in environmental and regulatory compliance for the telecommunications industry, Gates performed and managed over 1,000 Phase I ESAs and NEPA compliance reports for telecommunications industry clients in addition to countless others for non-telecommunications clients.
Robert “Rob” Atzl joined CBRE-IVI as a Director, Project Management and Client Manager.
Atzl has been performing Phase I Environmental Assessments since 1995 and is extremely knowledgeable in NEPA, historic preservation, programmatic agreement and other related topics.
As a Program Manager for a national firm specializing in environmental and regulatory compliance for the telecommunications industry, Atzl managed up to six field personnel and coordinated with various departments to ensure superior client satisfaction.

Colliers International has announced the additions of Clint Dewey as Associate Director, and Tiffany Benton and Jean-Philippe Krahmer as Associates, to its New York operations.
Clint Dewey will work alongside Vice Chairman Robert Tunis and Managing Director Eric Ferriello.
Dewey has a background in tenant and landlord representation services in the Midtown market and Westchester County, working with tenants from a diversity of sectors, including auto services, education, finance, law, technology, and biotechnology.
He received his B.A. in Urban Studies with a degree in Real Estate from the University of Pennsylvania.
Tiffany Benton comes to Colliers as an Associate, serving the brokerage team led by Vice Chairman Howard Grufferman and Executive Director Robert Gallucci.
Prior to Colliers, Benton was an owner of two businesses, Benton Lash LLC and Lashbomb, where she was responsible for steering both firms’ sales functions and marketing developments.
Benton received her B.A. from the University of Utah.
Jean-Philippe (“JP”) Krahmer joins Colliers as an Associate for the Brokerage Services division, working alongside National Office Services President Cynthia Foster and Vice Chairman Alan Desino.
Krahmer previously worked at Bloom Real Estate Group, with a focus on tenant representation.
Before that, he spent 24 years with Marubeni America Corporation (New York), a leading Japanese general trading company in the Metals & Minerals Resources Business Group.
Krahmer has an extensive background in Japanese business and culture, and graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
