Well Building Institute moving to 220 Fifth

Stellar Management, in partnership with Imperium Capital, announced that the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) has signed a 9,000 s/f lease at 220 Fifth Avenue.

IWBI is relocating to 220 Fifth Avenue from its current space at the nearby 381 Park Avenue South.
IWBI will be moving to the building’s 8th floor, which features a high-end, pre-built office space. 220 Fifth Avenue is currently finishing up a capital improvement program and will boast a fully renovated lobby as well as updated and modernized building systems.

“Our goal for providing pre-built offices at 220 Fifth Avenue is to allow tenants to move into an aesthetically pleasing space quickly so they can continue with business un-interrupted,” said Matthew Lembo, a principal at Stellar Management. “The welcome addition of International WELL Building Institute further amplifies the property’s strong tenant roster, solidifying it as one of the premier locations to work in Midtown South.”

Brian Waterman, Andrew Peretz, David Malawer, and Brent Ozarowski of NKF represented Stellar Management, while Michael Baraldi and Laura Pomerantz of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant.

“We’re very excited to be moving into this beautiful space in Flatiron,” said IWBI Chairman and CEO Rick Fedrizzi. “By definition, our team is passionate about their office surroundings, and our intention is to pursue WELL Certification for our space, using the opportunity to experience the benefits of WELL across every concept – air, thermal comfort, water, light, sound, materials, movement, nourishment, community and mind. We want our space to be a model for other companies who want to make sure the places and spaces where their employees work are optimized for health, wellness and performance.”
