Fresh off her recent transatlantic voyage from the United Kingdom to North Cove Marina in Battery Park City, 16-year-old climate crisis activist Greta Thunberg will lead the New York City Climate Strike on Friday (September 20).
Participants will assemble in Foley Square at noon and march to Battery Park where a rally will be held.
Being held three days before the UN Climate Summit in New York City, the march will coincide with others taking place across the globe as part of an international effort to demand transformative action be taken to address the climate crisis.
