Silverstein taps Cushman to lease 1177 Ave. of Americas space

Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the real estate services firm has been named the exclusive leasing agent for 1177 Avenue of the Americas, a 47-story, amenity-rich office skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan.

A Cushman & Wakefield team consisting of Bruce Mosler, Lou D’Avanzo, Ethan Silverstein, Anthony LoPresti and Caroline Collins will be marketing leasing opportunities on behalf of the landlord, Silverstein Properties.

“This office tower is in a prime location in Midtown Manhattan,” said Bruce Mosler, Chairman of Global Brokerage, Cushman & Wakefield.

“This ideal location, coupled with large floor plates able to accommodate various spacing options, and modern, health and wellness focused amenities will undoubtedly continue to attract high-quality tenants.”

Silverstein Properties has commenced construction on capital improvements to the building, including lobby renovations and creating a dedicated amenity space on the 17th floor.

The design of the new amenity space will incorporate Covid-19 recommended specifications and include multiple conference rooms, a large format training room that doubles as a fitness studio, collaborative seating, meditation pods, mothers’ rooms, a showcase pantry and more.

“We have invested significant thought into amenities and are committed to integrating health and wellness initiatives throughout this property and across our diverse portfolio,” added Jeremy Moss, Executive Vice President of Leasing at Silverstein Properties.

“We strive to create an environment where tenants can seamlessly integrate work and wellbeing without even leaving the building.”

Now available at 1177 Avenue of the Americas, Silverstein Properties’ new hospitality program, INSPIRE Your Day, offers tenants hotel-quality amenities and an on-site concierge that provides access to neighborhood perks, daily fitness classes and monthly social events. These services are all accessible to tenants via a dedicated app.

Notable tenants at the property include Kramer Levin, The Weather Channel, Tradeweb, Signature Bank, Practising Law Institute and Mill Point Capital. Silverstein Properties is showing leasable space to prospective tenants through virtual tours to ensure the safety of everyone during this time.
