Savills Studley has formed an association with Tel Aviv-based commercial brokerage firm, Index Real Estate.
The firm, which was established in 1994, specializes in commercial real estate consulting in Israel and abroad, providing clients with tenant representation, investment sales and project management services.
“Tel Aviv is an exciting, desirable location for many of the tech companies we represent. The city provides a dynamic, young workforce, access to venture capital and an attractive live-work-play atmosphere. As we continue to develop deeper relationships within the tech community access to this marketplace was increasingly important, and allows us to better serve the needs of our clients,” said Savills Studley President Michael Colacino.
International real estate advisor Savills recently ranked Tel Aviv third among the top ranking tech cities in its “Tech Cities” research program, which identified 12 global centers at the forefront of tech. Savills Studley had previously worked with Index to complete transactions on behalf of numerous clients, including Computer Associates and Harmon.
“We are excited and look forward to enhancing our firm’s ties with the US and international markets through our new association with Savills Studley. Savills Studley is one of the world’s leading real estate companies and this is a strong statement on their part recognizing the potential of Israel’s expanding economy and real estate markets,” said Noam Brender, the founder of Index Real Estate.
“We are thrilled to formalize our partnership with Savills Studley and create stronger ties to the U.S. for our existing Israel-based clients, and to offer our full range of services to foreign clients hoping to leverage Tel Aviv’s attractive commercial real estate offerings,” added Elad Fuchs, CEO and Partner at Index Real Estate.
Steve Berliner, Savills Studley executive vice president and branch manager of the New York Tri-State region, played an integral role in completing the agreement between Savills Studley and Index.
“Noam, Elad and their colleagues at Index have been exceedingly pleasant to work with and made a wonderful impression on the New York-based tenant representation teams,” Berliner said. “We are all very excited to begin cross-border work in this exciting location.”
The new global partnership follows a surge of activity for Savills Studley.
Over the previous 12 months, the firm has established several new offices in growing real estate markets across the United States, including Phoenix, Austin, Minneapolis and Baltimore.
