Rudin partners with Industrious on new co-working space

Flex workspace provider, Industrious is partnering with The Rudin Family to operate a co-working location at 32 Avenue of the Americas.

Industrious will open more than 52,000 s/f in the building, growing its New York City footprint to 11 locations that comprise more than 650,000 s/f.

Industrious Tribeca will be located in the landmark Art Deco-style telecommunications building formerly known as the AT&T Building, located near the Holland Tunnel. The 27-story site encompasses a full New York City block, and Industrious Tribeca will occupy the building’s entire 13th floor. The co-working space is expected to accommodate more than 300 employees across nine private offices and suites.

“We continue to double down on our hometown of New York City, and we fully expect flexible workplace options to be at the center of decision-making in the months ahead for businesses and employees alike,” said Justin Stewart, President and Co-Founder of Industrious.

“Rudin Management Company has shown an impressive commitment to New York throughout the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are thrilled to partner with them in bringing our industry-leading workplaces to Tribeca as office workers begin returning to downtown Manhattan.”

Industrious Tribeca is scheduled to open in October, and marks the sixth location Industrious has signed or opened in New York City since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Industrious added more than one million square feet to its portfolio nationwide in 2020 and plans to exceed that number in 2021 through a combination of organic growth and taking over spaces previously operated by other providers.

MICHAEL RUDIN

“We’ve known the team at Industrious for a long time, and we’re excited and proud to establish this new partnership,” said Michael Rudin, Senior Vice President at Rudin Management Company, the operating arm of the Rudin Family holdings.

“32 Avenue of the Americans has a longstanding reputation as one of New York City’s most significant high-tech buildings, which has attracted a number of forward-thinking and innovative creative and technology companies over the years. We believe Industrious will be a great addition to our growing tenant roster at the property.”

In addition to private offices and suites, Industrious Tribeca will feature conference and huddle rooms, a cafe and lounge area, and a wellness room. Private office suites range in size to accommodate teams working in groups of one or two, and up to 10.
